The establishment is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Very comfortable convenient residence with helpful staff - As with much of Val Thorens the apartment is ski in ski out. The ski room is good with heated boot storage. Our 5 person apartment was well equipped and quiet. There s a dishwasher and hob but no oven. we used the hotel laundry. The staff were very helpful and our late arrival due to traffic wasn't a problem. The restaurant is very good. We enjoyed the pool although it could be noisy at peak times.

Enjoyable Stay - Had an excellent stay here. All staff friendly and helpful from staff at the desk, bar, restaurant and ski hire shop. Property is well located and had good services and facilities. Ski Locker room was nice and well lit. Our stay here was easy, relaxing and enjoyable.

Great ski in ski out apartment hotel very close to ski runs/lifts and chairs. Also close to the centre of the village, free bus stop and a small petrol station. Lots going on from early morning until late at night. Be sure to book reservations for dinner as all the best restaurants get fully booked very early in the day. Also, everyone tends to eat early, I suppose after a day skiing at high altitude most people just want to eat, drink and retire early so they can be up early for skiing next morning. Residence L'Oxalys had everything you needed, a nice restaurant, pleasant staff, a nice clean spa, welcoming, small but homely and more than adequate apartments. Clean good quality towels and bedding, piping hot water and an overwarm heating system meant our stay was comfortable and cozy even when the temperature fell to below - 6 degrees. I would be more than happy to recommend a stay here.

I like the place and the service. Stayed there for the 2nd time now. You can access the piste from the ski locker exit which is a really nice. You can directly ski towards the "Plein Sud" lift. Which gives you all the freedom to move anywhere you want.

Great place to stay in Val Thorens - The property is located at the beginning of the village of Val Thorens. The Residence is not brand-new but still a very nice building. The rooms are furnished with relatively ageless and premium quality furniture, that is why the rooms still look very nice although they are not the newest ones. We were a group of 5 persons in a 3 bedroom apparment which had an ideal size for us. The kitchen was well equipped. The direct access to the slopes was great. The spa area was also very nice. Again not brand new and especially the pool was a relatively old modell. We enjoyed the bar and the happy hour between 5 and 6 pm. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the restaurant of the famous Chef Jean Sulpice is no longer within the`L´Oxalys property which was very disappointing for us. All in all we had a great time but I think it would be wise for the residence not to wait too long to do a renovation or refurbishement.

Still our favourite - what shall I say - we keep coming back every year. This is not the newest place in Val Tho and we've tried others and still: we end up concluding this is our best pick: the location on the slopes, the size and set-out of the appartments, the pool/sauna area, we enjoy it a lot
